CARL HUXTABLE, REGISTERED AND OFFICIAL LIQUIDATOR

Carl brings with him over 8 years experience in the corporate and personal insolvency fields. During that time he has dealt with a wide array of businesses, from clothing retailers to construction, labour hire to transport and research and development to investment.

Admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2004, Carl continued his professional development, becoming a member of the Australian Institute of Credit Management and the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia. In July 2005, he was named Young Credit Professional of the Year for Western Australia. Carl was registered as a liquidator with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in August 2005.

Carl is eager to explore corporate renewal, being the "ER" doctor rather than the traditional role as undertaker. "The legislation in place supports proactive recovery however it is those in control of the business that need to recognise financial difficulties earlier and take the smart move of seeking assistance whilst there is time to revive the business."

More recently, Carl's passion for rubgy has seen him attain a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation with the Australian Rugby Union, enabling him to apply for representative coaching roles (which he intends doing!). He also lived a dream in 2003, sitting behind the posts to watch his beloved Wallabies take on England in the Rugby World Cup Final.
