SUPPORT TEAM - Markus fernandez-kennedy, financial controller

Markus joined summerscorporate as a Business Analyst in June 2008 bringing with him a year of experience in the corporate and personal insolvency fields. This experience involved working with a diverse range of businesses, with a focus on financial investigations and trade on activities.

During his time within summerscorporate , Markus was quickly promoted to the role of Supervisor, however, in February 2010, Markus ceased this role in order to become the Financial Controller for both summerslegal and summerscorporate 

Awarded a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Professional Accounting, Markus is a proud Murdoch University alumnus and has maintained strong networks with the University often assisting with promotional activities.

Markus’ previous work experience includes establishing and managing a small business which successfully produced and published Melbourne’s first bar guide. Subsequent to this project Markus worked in international education marketing and international relations at Monash University. After relocating to Perth, Markus worked at Curtin University where he was involved in policy research and development, managing international education programs and negotiating agreements for commercial and academic exchange with international clients.

Markus is a football fanatic who plays a couple of times a week and hopes to go the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
